INTERMEDIARIO/AGENTE/CORREDOR
Persona natural o jurídica autorizada por el órgano competente (de su país) para comercializar los productos de las aseguradoras. Asume la responsabilidad de asesorar al cliente en la contratación de las diferentes coberturas, informar de las alternativas de mercado, comunicar las limitaciones, exclusiones y costos del seguro. Es la responsable de realizar los trámites para la contratación de las pólizas y asesorar al cliente en caso de siniestro.
INTERMEDIARY/AGENT/BROKER
A natural or artificial person authorized by the competent authority (of its country) to sell insurance products, assuming responsibility for advising the client on the purchase of different covers, informing about market alternatives, scope limitations, exclusions and cost of insurance. The intermediary is responsible for finalizing the policy issuance and advising the client in the event of claims.
